I began to experiment with creating sketches as something to do after getting creatively frustrated at not being able to learn to draw fast enough, likely an ADHD thing. I leaned on skills I already had of being funny to start writing sketches, something I grew to greatly enjoy under the banner of Che Does Things. Unfortunately, Good Morning Rat-Men got me way too busy to continue making more, and they fell by the wayside with many written, but never filmed. I am currently in the process of beginning production on some, however they require me to learn Adobe After Effects, so I am in the process of building until I am confident enough to make the sketches in a way that I feel delivers on the vision.
A Really Good Book was my final TAFE film. The primary goal was to play around with audio effects and getting 4 non-actors to do a useable oner.
The Goblin Sketch, an experiment in using EbSynth
My first sketch I made.
